The Scion Executive Search team and Joanne MacGregor are thrilled to share that Pauline Parrish has been selected as the new Controller of the Monterey Bay Aquarium! Pauline brings over twenty years of nonprofit financial accounting and leadership experience, as well as a lifelong passion for ocean conservation.

Pauline is an empowering leader who ensures that those around her have a voice. Her breadth of financial leadership includes overseeing budgets of $96 million, hundreds of cost centers, and numerous contracts and grants. In addition, Pauline’s accounting and payroll systems have dramatically improved efficiencies and increased reporting accuracy. She brings these skills, along with her dedication to the protection and conservation of ocean ecosystems, with her to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

A current Board member and Finance Committee member at both Equality Florida and the Shelby Foundation, Pauline is an active participant in the community. She holds a B.B.A. in accounting from Hofstra University in New York.
