Scion Staffing, is searching for a Director of Operations on behalf of our client, a global entertainment brand in Burlington, VT! This is a wonderful contract-to-hire position offering a hybrid or remote, part-time opportunity to join a driven company! 
 
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will oversee day-to-day company operations to ensure  business runs efficiently and continues to exceed annual company goals. Your role will be accountable for galvanizing all company operations, including sales, production, marketing, financial, and HR, to ensure our company runs smoothly and exceeds financial and other company objectives.

  • Competitive hourly rate of $71 - $84.11/hr. DOE.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage day-to-day business operations, including supply chain, legal, financial, retail, administrative, and HR duties.  
  • Measure, analyze, and improve business processes and systems for maximum efficiency. 
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget set by COO. 
  • Facilitate best practices and create efficient processes, procedures, and create business continuity plans. 
  • Collaborate with Controller and accounting department in monthly bookkeeping. 
  • Oversee HR policies and best practices. 
  • Manage office operations, including communications with the company, logistics, IT, and expenditures. 
  • Lead supply chain team. 
  • Assist in projection modeling company goals and financial projections. 
  • Implement and optimize legal processes to streamline alignment and expedite results.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance protocols with factories, fulfillment, and customer service.  
  • Uphold the organization's policies and ensure that legislative regulations are being followed.  
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs to measure the effectiveness of operations and identify areas for improvement.

 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management. 
  • Proficiency with budgeting, financial, and other necessary organizational software including Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, Asana, Keynote, Shopify, and Netsuite preferred. 
  • Strong personal and communication skills, and proven experience leading teams. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 
  • Ability to work within deadlines, budgets, deliver on time, and be organized in your workflow is a must.
     
 
COMPENSATION:
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $71 - $84.11/hr. as well as optional health, dental, vision, and other benefits after 30 days of employment!
