Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Annual Giving & Alumni Manager for an amazing independent K-12 school that supports students by providing an inclusive environment with innovative teaching. This is an exciting Full-Time, Direct-Hire opportunity located in Seattle, WA!

As the Annual Giving & Alumni Manager, you will report to the Director of Development and use your incredible relationship building skills to help reach annual philanthropic goals and objectives. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create data-driven strategies for the fall Annual Fund campaign and spring fundraising event
  • Partner with the Director of Development to develop and execute annual and long-range objectives.
  • Partner with the Director of Development to recruit and support the efforts of the Giving Committee.
  • Draft solicitation brochures, appeal letters, and acknowledgements
  • Serve as the project manager of the Annual Impact Report, working directly with the Director of Development and Director of Marketing and Communications
  • Draft development-related pieces for school publications, correspondence with parents, donors, alumni, and other items.
  • Develop and implement strategies for identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors
  • Responsible for growing a comprehensive alumni program and strengthening constituent relationships
  • Planning, event production, and execution of all alumni programs, events, and communications, to include a bi-annual alumni newsletter
  • Lead communication and print materials for Annual Fund and spring fundraising event
  • Assist with developing a marketing and communication plan for all development-related items
  • Assist the Director of Development and partner with the Events and Community Engagement Manager on recruiting and supporting volunteers for spring fundraising event
  • Serve as the spring fundraising event development team lead; manage ticket promotion, procurement, and day-of-event execution as it relates to philanthropy
  • Oversee prompt tracking and acknowledgement of gifts and pledges, as well as corporate matching and in-kind gifts
  • Identify and prepare grant proposals and associated foundation reporting
  • Support major gifts efforts and other development priorities as assigned by the Director of Development
  • Supervises non-classroom duties, such as recess, arrival and/or dismissal, or front desk coverage, when assigned
  • Enhances professional expertise through membership in applicable professional organizations and participation in continuing education related to assigned responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years in Nonprofit or Independate School Advancement
  • Proficiency with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Excel
  • Proficiency with Benefits Administration systems
  • This position with our client requires employees to report to work at a physical location. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This exciting career opportunity allows you to work with a brilliant and thriving team! The salary range for this role is $80,000-$90,000 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, AD&D Coverage, Disability Insurance, Flexible Spending Account, and Retirement Plan TIAA.
