Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Database and Development Associate for our client, an impactful nonprofit located in St. Paul, MN. This organization's mission is to empower children throughout Africa by providing reading-enhancement materials and learning opportunities. This position is offered either hybrid or remote, and is a part-time, two-month contract!

SUMMARY:

The Database and Development Associate will work to support the Executive Director and Director of Development in the areas of database management, development support, and administrative support.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 
  • Identify and predict market trends to drive market research operations.
  • Manage data entry for all incoming gifts and produce acknowledgment letters on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain accurate and current contact information for donors and partners.
  • Record donor interactions in Salesforce.
  • Answer phone and email inquiries.
  • Create and mail honoree acknowledgment cards.
  • Assist with event planning and fundraising initiatives.
  • Monitor daily credit card processing and follow up with declined transactions.
  • Maintain and update BFA boilerplate presentation and informational materials.




QUALIFICATIONS: 
 
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM.
  • Previous nonprofit administrative and database management experience.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work autonomously.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
 
COMPENSATION: 
This opportunity offers a pay rate of $35-$37/hour.
