Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) has been retained to search for a new Bilingual Logistics Manager  on behalf of our client, a rapidly scaling global manufacturing company in Tigard, Oregon. This role will direct customer service and logistics activities for the Americas region. Key responsibilities include managing inventories, warehousing, and logistic activities as well as acting as the conduit of interaction with customers, supervising their end-to-end order fulfillment.
 
What you’ll be doing:
  • Administer operational activities to optimize customer service experience.
  • Oversee and promote complete and on-time deliveries to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with international supply chain teams to deliver a coordinated exceptional service experience to customers.
  • Provide leadership to a Customer Service Representative in Texas.
  • Work in partnership with the international supply chain group to deliver goods to the customer.
  • Keep accurate records and documents and well as analyze statistics and compile accurate reports.
  • Ensure implementation processes are well coordinated and that end-to-end visibility of parts, orders, and product statuses within the system are accurate to deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with Supply Planners to ensure the required inventory is planned for the appropriate locations.
  • Source, negotiate and oversee suitable 3PL logistics partners and implement their performance management to ensure customer satisfaction is delivered.
What you have to offer:
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English.
  • Expertise working with engineering or industrial parts.
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing distribution.
  • Ability to travel 25% to 35% of the time.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or another related discipline.
  • 5+ years of customer service as well as import and export supply chain management experience.
  • Logistics, warehousing, and distribution expertise.
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding, TIB and bonded warehouse/FTZ operations.
  • 3+ years of experience leading, coaching and mentoring employees.
  • Must be a detail-oriented, strategic thinker, with expert negotiating abilities.
  • Intermediate to an advanced level user in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and ERP systems.
