Scion Staffing, Inc. (www.scionnonprofitstaffing.com), a full-service national staffing firm, has been engaged to conduct a search for a Bilingual Program Manager for our client, a growing nonprofit foundation, in the Capitol Hill division of Seattle, WA

****This is not an IT or Software Engineer position***

Want to spend 50% of your time traveling the world working with Indigenous Peoples? You will be rolling out the program for the 3 regions this organization supports.

This is a newly added position that will report to the Managing Director. The requirements for this role are solid and you must have the required experience listed.

Responsibilities:

  • Fine tune the fellows program
  • Identify appropriate partners to provide both culturally authentic and technically adequate trainings for fellows
  • Institutionalize selection process of the potential fellows together with regional facilitators
  • Roll out the training sessions of the Leadership Fellows Program in the three priority regions of the organization
  • Manage fellows, including: defining capacity development needs, identifying meaningful learning opportunities, and following up progress of fellows through the program
  • Follow up with fellows after they finish the program
  • Ensure that Leadership Fellows related grants are drafted and implemented according to the plans
  • Ensure that planned activities are aligned with budget

Skills and requirements needed:

  • Fluency in English + Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese
  • Masters degree in Education or Learning
  • 3-5 years of related work experience with Indigenous peoples 
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills in a multi-cultural setting
  • Budget Management
  • Experience in designing, implementing and assessing initiatives
  • Experience in organizing meetings with multicultural participants

Compensation:
This position with a wonderful organization, offers a starting annual salary DOE + benefits.
