Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) has been engaged to conduct a search for an insurance defense focused Senior Civil Defense Attorney on behalf of our client, a highly reputable insurance defense law firm, with an office located in beautiful Buffalo Grove, Illinois!

This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Attorney who thrives in fast moving environments and has in-depth knowledge and experience with insurance defense litigation. Our client’s law firm has an amazing reputation and an impressive track record. If you are an Attorney who is self-motivated, dedicated and highly communicative, this opportunity is one you will want to consider! This full-time role is available for immediate hire and while day to day operations are traditionally on-site- remote work is available through the pandemic.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee depositions and engage in mediation
• Manage a full case load while delivering a high level of service to clients
• Oversee and handle insurance defense files (start to finish)
• Deliver consistent and positive client communication
• Actively engage in new business development

Experience & Requirements:

• Active licensure in the state of Illinois  
• 7+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
• Portable book of business
• Superb written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Positive attitude and dependable nature
