Scion Nonprofit Staffing (www.scionnonprofitstaffing.com) has been engaged to conduct a search for a Legal Assistant for our client, a well-known agricultural health care provider focused on creating innovative healthcare solutions and benefits to their valued members based out of Southern California. This is a partial remote, direct-hire opportunity with an immediate need!
Overview
The Legal Assistants primary responsibility is to support our client’s legal team with legal research, drafting emails and responses, and preparing plan documents focused in the area of health plan law which covers laws and regulations that pertain to health plans and healthcare insurance providers. This role will be a partially remote position during COVID and work under the direction of our attorneys.
