Scion Staffing (www.scionstaffing.com) has been engaged to conduct the search for a contract HR Assistant for our client, a well-known Nonprofit Organization in San Francisco, CA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary contact when employees call out sick and/or is being told they need to quarantine and be tested.
• Responsible to maintain and update employee files. 
• Contact any employee who calls out sick to discuss their symptoms to determine if the employee should be tested.
• Assist impacted staff on scheduling initial and follow-up testing appointments.
• Review and follow-up with staff who have experienced potential exposure to provide support and directive.
• Update Covid Calendar and the Staff updates
• Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
• Deal with employee requests and questions regarding Covid 19
• Other duties as assigned

• 1 year of experience in an HR capacity 
• Must be bi-lingual (Spanish/English)
• Have experience working with confidential information and understanding of HIPPAA compliance
• Be flexible as work schedule could shift 
• Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS
• General knowledge of labor laws

COMPENSATION:

This opportunity offers a pay rate of $22+ hourly, depending on experience. There is great potential to grow professional while working for an organization that makes a difference.
