Scion Staffing has been engaged to lead the search for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk with a leading nonprofit in Berkeley, CA! This is a Temp-to Hire opportunity offering a competitive pay rate and the opportunity to make an impact with a truly passionate team!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Providing assistance in A/P and A/R.
• Data entry and activity processing.
• Gathering and verifying backup documentation for credit card transactions.
• Filing, copying, and scanning various documents for A/R and A/P.
• Reconciling bank statements.
• Supporting the preparation of various monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Utilizing Excel to produce schedules as needed.
• Recording miscellaneous transactions in the accounting software Blackbaud Financial Edge

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2+ years of experience within Accounts Payable and Finance
• Nonprofit accounting experience preferred
• High proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Experience with bank reconciliations and GL
• Must be flexible and a team player

COMPENSATION:

This opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $28-32 / hr DOE.
