Scion Nonprofit Staffing, has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Capital Campaign Manager on behalf of our amazing client, an impactful organization that provides meals, groceries, and nutrition counseling in Washington DC. This is an incredible direct-hire opportunity for an experienced and passionate fundraising campaign professional that is looking to relocate to the DC area and will work to lead the planning and execution of fundraising initiatives for capital campaigns!

Responsibilities:
Campaign Management
  • Management of overall campaigns which includes managing pipelines, tracking prospects, planning strategy, and project management.
  • Planning and implementation of campaign calendars to keep progress timeline.
  • Serving as project point of contact regarding timeline progress and deliverables.
  • Working closely with teams to lead committee campaign advancement meetings.
  • Managing campaign production and collateral alongside the Director of Communications.
Prospect Strategy and Support
  • Identifying prospects by assessing prospect pool to position success of fundraising goals.
  • Leading frequent review meetings with upper management.
  • Leading the research and development of prospect strategy.
  • Scheduling donor and prospect meetings.
  • Managing volunteer assignment allocation.
  • Preparing presentations for Board members, and other staff.
Administrative Reporting
  • Overseeing and tracking campaign gifts and preparation of pledge agreements.
  • Managing event logistics.
  • Utilizing programs to track meetings and donor records.
  • Event planning and preparation.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of development experience, preferably with a capital campaign or direct experience with prospect research, donor communications, cultivation, solicitation, and proposal writing.
  • Basic understanding of fundraising best practices.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience in volunteer leadership.

This position with our client will require employees to be onsite in Washington DC. As a cautionary measure, our client is asking all employees to be fully vaccinated by the date of hire. Compensation & Benefits:
The ability to work for an organization with a phenomenal mission, positive team-oriented work environment and a competitive salary of $90,000 plus relocation package.
