Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Executive Assistant for our client, a globally impactful Nonprofit at the center of biodiversity, conservation, and human rights. This is an exciting Full-Time, remote contract opportunity ending February 3rd, located in Seattle, WA!

As the Executive Assistant, you will report to the Chief Strategy and Operations Officer (CSOO), will support with the Senior leadership’s scheduling, travel, and event logistics. You will also plan, guide, and monitor the workplans for the Senior leadership’s initiated projects. Your strong written and communication skills along with your ability to take initiative will help you succeed in supporting this organization and its mission!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plan and coordinate schedules and maintain active calendar of appointments
  • Arrange travel plans, itineraries, and agendas
  • Record meeting minutes and notes as needed
  • Maintain the Senior leadership’s list of contacts
  • Enter contacts and other relevant information into CRM (Salesforce)
  • Complete expense reports
  • Communicate directly and on behalf of the Senior leadership with Board members, Advisory Council members, staff, and others, on matters related to their initiatives
  • Support with meetings and trainings including organizing agendas, drafting and compiling necessary documents and correspondence, arranging travel for guests and visa preparation support, and managing event details such as catering and basic IT troubleshooting
  • Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming requests, issues, and concerns addressed to the Senior leadership
  • Proofread and edit materials as requested
  • Ensure that bios are kept up to date and respond to requests for materials regarding the Senior leadership
  • Serve as the backup support to the CEO with meeting support and calendaring as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years of Executive Assistant or high-level administrative experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, preferably Outlook
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Nonprofit experience is a plus!
  • Fluent in multiple languages is a plus!
  • This position with our client requires employees to report to work at a physical location. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
