In this role, effective November 14, 2022, Miller will bring over 30 years of nonprofit and social service experience to CHAIL. Here is an excerpt from the Board of Trustees at CHAIL:<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter conducting a national search, we are thrilled to welcome Scurry Miller as the new President and CEO at Children\u2019s Home Association of Illinois,\u201d said Bill Lutz, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. \u201cChildren\u2019s Home has a strong history in our community and we are invigorated to bring in someone who we believe will continue the important mission of helping the youth and families who need it most while honoring the agency\u2019s long legacy in Central Illinois.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Scurry joins as President and CEO with 30 years of nonprofit and social service experience. He led transformational and organizational change for nonprofits in Texas with a focus on supporting and serving vulnerable populations of homeless youth and families, at-risk individuals, and people living with HIV. He has a strong background in operations oversight, compliance, advocacy, and capital campaigns. He holds a licensure as a Child Care Administrator by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, a master’s degree in counseling, and is passionate about providing excellent care to youth and families.<\/em><\/p>\n
