Significant leadership experience in progressively senior roles within a multi-site nonprofit organization is preferred.

Proven expertise in board development, fundraising, marketing/branding, and financial management.

A strong history of developing and executing strategic initiatives, including managing projects and staff, overseeing budgeting and cost control, improving operational efficiency, and allocating resources effectively.

Exceptional coalition-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups and negotiate consensus on differing viewpoints.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience as a spokesperson, relationship-builder, and fundraiser.

A strong commitment to staff development, with a proven record of recruiting, mentoring, and retaining diverse talent.

Knowledge of risk management and operations in organizations with significant physical assets is a plus.

Hands-on experience in business management and operations, with a collaborative approach to working with finance, programs, external affairs, and facilities teams.

Experience with outcomes-based programming and expertise in experiential education, particularly for youth from historically marginalized communities, including leadership and adventure education.

A demonstrated commitment to organizational values, including service, collaboration, sustainability, and social justice.

High integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to lead by example with a strong dedication to the organization’s mission.

Graduate degree in a relevant field preferred (e.g., M.Ed., MSW, MPA, MBA, etc.).
