Are you interested in supporting a well-renowned nonprofit as a Development Assistant? Scion Nonprofit Staffing (www.scionnonprofitstaffing.com) frequently conducts searches for contract Development Assistants for a variety of organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct data entry for incoming donations within donor databases such as Raiser’s Edge, Donor Perfect, or Salesforce for Nonprofits
Provide direct support to executive leadership for development activities
Provide logistical support for fundraising events
Generate thank-you letters as needed
Provide administrative support to the department and assume additional duties as needed
Proven ability to navigate through databases and their functions; Donor Perfect, Raiser’s Edge, or Salesforce for Nonprofits (a plus)
2 years of administrative experience in a nonprofit setting (strongly preferred)
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree (required)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (required)
This opportunity offers a pay rate of $19-$23 hourly, depending on experience. There is great potential to grow professionally while working to help a great cause.
