Scion Staffing has been engaged to lead the search for a motivated Nonprofit Data Analyst with a nationally established nonprofit organization in California. This is a Contract opportunity offering a competitive pay rate and the opportunity to work and grow with a truly impactful team! This is currently slated as an 8-month contract with the possibility of extension!

The Program Data Analyst is responsible for synthesizing and analyzing program data collected from/by project consultants and other staff; preparing daily consolidated dashboard updates; monitoring databases and program KPIs; generating insights based on analysis of program data; conducting and presenting research on best practices in rental assistance program administration, relevant legislative updates, and related current events; and creating recommendations to project leadership based on insights from the program data.

Job Duties

  • Coordinate with project consultants and LISC staff to access and monitor multiple databases and data sources
  • Prepare daily consolidated dashboard updates
  • Monitor program KPIs daily
  • Conduct research on program best practices, relevant legislative updates, and other contextual news
  • Create recommendations for project leadership based on insights from program data analysis
  • Prepare high quality materials for meetings and informational requests
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in programmatic data analysis; experience in a community development or social services context preferred
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Experience preparing executive level communications materials
  • Experience interpreting and synthesizing data for multiple audiences
  • Advanced competency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), online storage systems (like Box), Adobe Acrobat.
  • Function effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, complex, and changing environment
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Proven track record and demonstrated commitment to collaborative teamwork

Compensation

This opportunity offers a competitive pay rate of $35 – 40 /hr DOE.
