Scion Nonprofit Staffing (www.scionnonprofitstaffing.com) has been engaged to conduct a search for a Development Coordinator for immediate hire for our client, a well-known nonprofit organization committed to animal welfare! This is a 2–3 month contract opportunity located in Bellevue, WA, and focused on a great cause!

As the Development Coordinator, you will report to the Giving Director and work with the Donor Services team to manage donations, accounts, database reports, and donor acknowledgment. You will bring your high attention to detail and data entry efficiency to support the organization’s mission of ending animal cruelty!

What You Will Be Doing:

• Manage donations and all donor records in an efficient and effective manner
• Work with team members to produce acknowledgments for gifts
• Process data entry and import fundraising revenue and donations
• Monitor policy and procedure compliance regarding data entry, confidentiality, and records management
• Work closely with the Donor Services team to follow an established priority list
• Coordinate large mailings and maintain an up-to-date mailing list
• Maintain files and records that adhere to retention policy and procedures
• Handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
• Assist with special events and projects as needed and help ensure high office appearance standards

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of Development Coordinator experience
• 1-2 years of Raiser’s Edge NXT experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• This position with our client requires employees to report to work at a physical location. Compensation & Additional Details:

• Pay Rate: $24 Per Hour  
• Job Type: 2-3 Month Contract
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Location: Bellevue, WA
• Medical benefits are available through Scion Staffing upon eligibility
