06 Oct The Animal Rescue Foundation Names Lisa Moore as Chief Advancement Officer
Scion Executive Search is thrilled to share that Lisa Moore has been selected as the Animal Rescue Foundation’s incoming Chief Advancement Officer! As CAO, Lisa will serve on the senior leadership team and champion all things advancement—fund development, marketing, and community engagement outreach operations.
An inspiring and collaborative leader offering a wealth of nonprofit experience, Lisa has served in fundraising and development roles for the entirety of her career. To her, working at ARF constitutes far more than a job. “ARF is an organization I have admired from afar and one that my entire family loves,” Lisa shared. “The dogs and cats ARF takes care of deserve love, respect, and shelter, no matter what. ARF is a lifeline for animals and the fortunate individuals who bring them home.” Lisa herself is one such lucky individual. Her dog and companion, Stella, has become an integrated part of her family. Lisa achieved a Master of Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts in government from St. Mary’s College of California.
Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) was founded in 1991 by a small team of volunteers who worked tirelessly in donated office space to save 157 dogs and cats during ARF’s first year. Now, with more than 47,000 pet adoptions to its credit and operating from its ten-acre state-of-the-art campus, the award-winning 501(c)(3) is dedicated to strengthening the human-animal bond through uniting pets and people and protecting the bond through special programming for families, children, seniors, veterans, and under-resourced community members.
