With fifteen years of research and practical experience in sustainability both domestically and globally, Mihir is an experienced urban and regional development professional who creates positive outcomes for communities.

Throughout his career, Mihir has driven impact in multi-stakeholder, multi-sectoral environments, leading research design, implementation, analysis, and communication of outputs to governments, academia, private sector, and nonprofit audiences. Mihir is thrilled to join a team that does so much to elevate the city of Pittsburgh’s recognition as a place that offers a high quality of life.

A seasoned academic with an extensive list of publications, Mihir holds two master’s degrees, one in Public Administration and one in Urban Environmental Planning, and a Bachelor of Physical Planning in Urban and Regional Planning, Statistics, and Land Economics.
