The Scion Executive Search team, along with Joanne MacGregor, is thrilled to share that Shannon Petrello has been selected by LifeMoves as their incoming Chief Development Officer! Shannon has spent fifteen years in the fundraising arena and is committed to ensuring that everyone has access to the resources and opportunities they need for a healthy and positive life.

Shannon is the Board Chair for the Redwood City Education Foundation and comes to LifeMoves from Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, where she was their Campaign Director. She has personal experience with emergency housing and holds LifeMoves’ mission close to her heart. Shannon affirmed, “As one of the wealthiest regions in the country, we have the right here to solve local homelessness. We must solve this so that our entire community can thrive.”

With an extensive background in Silicon Valley philanthropy, Shannon has made incredible strides in growing equity in her community and supporting advances in social services, education, and civil rights.
