18 Jan Thomas Kim Selected as Incoming CEO of RMHC CTX

An executive with 28 years of leadership in nonprofit and governmental organizations, Thomas is a transformational servant leader with a proven track record of establishing and nurturing lifelong connections. As an experienced fundraiser and storyteller, Thomas is an adept financial manager with experience leading large and small organizations.
Thomas is a longtime supporter of RMHC and shared, “The work of RMHC to address not only logistical, emotional, and financial hardship caused when their child is hospitalized at a medical facility away from their home, and the fact that the organization provides comprehensive, wraparound services to the family, speaks to my belief and heart about addressing the needs of the family system that heals a community.” Thomas is a combat veteran who has earned an MBA, MSW, and BA, among other certifications.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas (RMHC CTX) is a nonprofit founded in 1985 on the simple idea that nothing else should matter when a family is focused on their child’s health. RMHC CTX has supported 17,000+ families by providing them with 100,000+ room nights at the Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Family Rooms located in Central Texas, which provide a comforting “home-away-from-home” for families to stay so they can fight their child’s illness or injury together.
