POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead the development and execution of strategies to optimize and manage claims operations, including automating processes and driving efficiency.

Utilize technology and data analytics to improve the quality of claims processing while driving cost efficiencies across the company's self-insured employee health plans.

Uncover financial savings and enhance overall plan performance by conducting thorough audits and in-depth analysis of claims data.

Provide strategic leadership in driving departmental growth while fostering collaboration with multiple other departments.

Ensure data integrity and drive financial and operational value across employee health plans, optimizing benefit coverage while controlling costs.

Collaborate with C-suite executives and hospital administration to implement the goals and strategies of the employee health plans.

Ensure that any process or procedural changes impacting operations are communicated promptly and efficiently through effective cross-functional teamwork.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
A Master's degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required.

5+ years of experience in claims and health plan strategy within a managed care, self-funded hospital setting.

Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, with a focus on using data to drive both operational and financial performance.

The ability to navigate complex, fast-paced environments involving multiple internal and external stakeholders is essential.

Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management skills are required, along with proficiency in creating presentations for various audiences using Microsoft Office.

Comprehensive knowledge of medical coding, including ICD-10 and HCPCs/CPT, is also necessary.

Certified Professional Coding Certification, AIC, ARM, or an equivalent credential preferred.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This career opportunity offers a strong salary of $200,000 to $250,000+ per year plus discretionary bonuses.
